there is a range at Astley, which is (or was) run by Gareth Benson it is popular with quite a few of our members its only 3 or 4 miles from Ellesmere GC, several of our section go for group lessons there.
Only been once myself as Trafford Golf is nearer where I live.

Just been down there tonight for first time since taken over.
Can barely walk now as I've just hit about 200 balls
Good range balls and new mats, the guy who has taken it over seems a good bloke too. The smoking hot babe collecting the money is a nice touch too :thup:
P.S I didn't mention I knew you Rick, didn't want to get off on the wrong foot. Will get on his good side before I chance upsetting him

Some of our girls have mentioned that they are now charging £5 for 50 balls which is rather dearer than other local places.

It's 5 quid for 30 mins as many balls as you want. I was there longer and they didn't bother.

Sounds like a trusting Kinda guy.
I might go down though and suggest the wristbands to him. Plus a vending machine with Burtons Fish and Chips, Wham Bars and Opel Fruits.

Astley is OK for electricity, I'm sure its the Mcr side of the border.
Others are not so lucky.. This is a current coal fired vending machine just over the Border
