A great place for some fun social golf. No the most challenging courses but well kept, decent grub and beer and plenty to do apres golf. Whats not to like

No Dermot. Being met at the entrance by an unshaven shell suit wearing, News of the World reader who was covered in tattooes put me off. I said as much and apparantly upset them.
How was I supposed to know that she was the ladies captain????

Yeah I don't remember my school dinners being like that....

It's a big place so you are bound to come across some "undesirables" but £170 quid for 4 rounds of golf, 2 nights in a decent room and all the food you can eat?

Can't really argue with that.

Just a shame it tipped it down all weekend when i was there.

Don't do buffets. I like to be served by a waitress, and ideally a good looking one.

£107 for 2 nights, 3 rounds with buggies and all the grub too, you can also have a go at the par 3 course if you fancy it but the bar will be beckoning.
We play this time of the year anually, used to be Cornwall Vs Wales but we beat them too many times so they have stopped playing and took their ball home...;0)
Just Decorators Vs Depot Managers and staff....
Usually a great laugh, loads of pee taking, singing and half decent golf...
Come on our team...;0)

I'm with Smiffy here, went last year and would definately never go back. Had a room near the pool that made it stink of chlorine and reach about 40 degs despite weather being crap. Crap courses and the whole place just has a "If Butlins did golf holidays" feel about it.

Great weekend with fantastic weather for this time of year, played in my shorts for the 3 rounds. The courses were a bit heavy in places and i did manage to go down one slope on me arse ;0(
The greens were suprisingly in good condition for the time of year and as usual the `Craic` was great.
Plenty of food and alcohol was consumed and we had a proper Christms dinner with all the trimmings on the saturday night.
The decorators won the match to get hold of the `Celtic` cup, when i get a chance i will post the pics of the teams...;0)
