Artificial putting and chipping area - ballpark costs?

I have an unused area at the side of the house that is approx 6ft by 25 ft that is already levelled off.

Anyone have any experience of how much it would cost to turn this into an area similar to Mark Crossfield's garden.

i have no concept of whether this is a 5, 10 or 15k plus job.

I would guess it depends if you plan to do it yourself or pay for a company (Huxley etc) to come in and do it for you. Either way, good luck and hope it pays off in your game

I had a fake grass lawn put in a few years back. Roughly 4m square.

The main expense was the material required to go underneath that gets compacted to get the area flat.

In total I think we paid about £1,200, but the cost was wrapped up within the overall cost of having the garden done.

Not sure if you're after something more elaborate than just a flat bit of ground. Also not sure how the cost of a putting surface compares to fake grass!
