Weather perfect, first time in weeks, just had a texted invite for a round at 2:15, my boss is at the airport so can't cover, and I'm stuck in my home office writing software.

If thats not proof there is no god, then I don't know what is... :)

Days like today are few and far between, unfortunatly couldnt get away from work so have arranged a half day tomorrow,if there is a golf god i am sure the weather will be fine.

I concur with the O.P, however I was told off on here for saying I was sick of work. Hard lines pal, better luck next time ey!

Sneaked off for a couple of hours but had left my shoes in the wifes car, clearly her fault, I expect her to check the boot for just such an occurence. Man is she in for it when she gets home !

27 holes of society golf, bacon roll, ham egg n chips, and then steak pie and apple crumble. Sunshine all day. A bottle for nearest the pin.

What a day you guys have missed.

Sounds like a good day off indeed, I've no more holidays left this year. I do however have 2 weeks off for Christmas.

Tomorrow I'm finishing early to start at 4pm at a course close to work, should get the 18 holes in, although tomorrows partner is a tad slow.

At least the weather is looking nice.

I should have been playing at Tyrells Wood yesterday (been organised for weeks) but my manager informed me that he was on holiday this week so had to postpone until next Thursday. I bet the weather isn't as nice next week....

Glad I'm not the only one. I dunno, I can change my work hours if I've got Seasonal Affective Disorder, small children, or because of my belief systems, but I can't because my handicap isn't coming down quick enough. Bloody Broken Britain...

been out every evening this week, either 9 or 18, and shall be out this afternoon. I'm lucky, we have flexi so if the sun shines . . . I just have to make the time up when it's wet and within the month.

had to rush the back 9 to finish before dark (now 7.30 - I hate this end of the year, nothing to look forward to but months of get up in the dark, go to work in the dark, get home in the dark).
