Anyone else goin. Am learning the words to jerusalem and Hairs on yer dicky dido.
Looking forward to it.
100th anniversary

Thanks for the reminder.

I'll now ensure that I find an alternative route home! Nothing worse than a train load of ex-forces guys absolutely s-faced after a game of generally diabolical Rugby!

I can understand the tradition, but it certainly doesn't deserve the hype that it (or the Oxford v Cambridge Match) gets!

The redeeming feature could be that it raises a large amount of money that is, supposedly, used for 'good causes'!

Blah blah blah blah.

The quality of rugby is generally decent, kicking maybe not so but handling skills are good, bearing in mind some of the players on show play professional rugby for decent teams

We currently have a spare if you want it, appreciate short notice though

Thanks for the offer Martin but I would be looking for 2 as my girlfriend wants to go as well.

I'm going, come join me for a pint at the Sapper Bar Tashyboy 🍺🍺
Give my regards to Dog please mate when you see him, if you remember, if it's early, before you're minging

Nah then Val, give me directions to the Sapper bar and al try and make me way there.
If I do get there I will be the one with the red top hat on, oh and Tache.

oh ah, bro in law was round last night who is chairman of the local branch of the British legion, anyway he was saying they ordered tickets for the 100th anniversary of this game the day after they were released. They sold out within a week..

You need what my mate's rugby team used when on tour. They had a bucket with a piece of hose attached to the bottom & used to stand at the coach door with the hose pointing out. OK until someone used it while they were going through a city Centre.

Well am back and in one piece.
Observations.
Bloody hell them forces guys can sup. And I mean seriously sup. I thought miners could sup but they are part timers.
Was nice seeing guys/ servicemen get bladdered and wanting to cuddle folk rather than beat the **** outta folk.
Twickenham inside is very good for viewing and acoustics.
Twickenham outside is a shithole and about as beautiful as as a quadruple bogey on a bogey free card. It is a dirty concrete dump with no consideration to looking nice.
The locals have it nailed on re flogging food to the tor it's from there front garden.
The rugby was of an OK standard but seemed to be secondary to supping.
Had a right laugh on the coach going and returning and have been asked to join the British legion.
On the plan to do list for next year as long as City are not at home.
