Congrats but honours for people playing sport is something that I think dilutes them

If a sportsman or woman goes above and beyond just playing the game then most certainly honour them

A good ambassador for the ladies game and a deserved honour. Arguably brought the ladies game more prominence single handed, which, when you consider she is not a svelte like model, is even more commendable (i know, not pc, but still true).

Dame Lara Croft is also well deserved imho. She does a helluva lot of good work and is very humble in recognising that her position allows her to do so.
