Argh so close yet so far

Played in our mixed foursomes medal cup last year and lost out by 1 shooting one over par to handicap.

Cue this years comp today, 17 shots to play with , started off by putting Hid into bunkers on 1 & 3 which she didn't get out off but we still got bogies on, turned in 45 then blitzed the back 9 in 38 for a 83 nett 66 which would have won last year by 5 shots so feeling pretty confident we'd done it ....................... to be pipped by an 64 by couple shooting 78 nett 64. Third was a nett 74 .
