just had a range session and it was pish!!!

driver slice was back, all other clubs I was topping, thinning, it was a mare. gave half a bucket of balls to the lad in next bay and came home. I was striking it sweet as a nut in my lesson the other day.

Will put it down to one of those days and hope I play better on Saturday morning. My new found confidence has been obliterated

I played nine holes tonight with Hawkeye and having not played properly for a while after sorting my mum out I actually hit it pretty well. Played the back nine and spanked my opening drive and the ball striking from there was good and only a few weren't quite in the direction I'd planned. Chipping, pitching and putting were pleasantly pleasing

Good work homer, I'm going for a range session tomorrow after work and may pop onto my locals course 6 holer course for a few circuits. I need to try out a new grip and decide whether to make the change now or winter!

Chin-up G1BB0 - happens all the time and will make you appreciate the good days. I played 18 the other night and was playing ok before having one of those holes where it looks like you've never hit a ball before. Topped every shot on the way to the green, visiting 2 fairway bunkers and 3 putting from 8 feet. Parred the next hole though!

My 9 holes last night was a mixed bag. I wasn't really concentrating as I should have been so a could of shots went awry. But I am *still* driving it well (apart from a hook into the trees on the 1st, never to be seen again - my next two from the 1st tee were in play though ) and I (for the most part) was striking my irons better last night. Hope I can find some sort of form around the greens for Beau. Ours are running pretty slick and I was over hitting most putts by about 5 or 6 feet last night! I'm a bit worried about putting at Beau

I'll probably hack it round in three figures on Sunday Stupid game.
