after going for a custom fitting with mizuno for a complete set of clubs.
i decided to order the driver first from american golf who phoned mizuno who confirmed they had the head and shaft in stock and i should get the club within a week 3 weeks later i am still waiting.
american golf show zero intrest as i paid for the club in advance and mizuno will only deal with the shop who placed the order.

I got my irons fitted a week before xmas and even with the DEEP snow I got them before xmas.

I think you have been unlucky but I did hear that JPX heads are out of stock in the UK atm, so maybe they are doing so well that are running out of stock for everything.

Can that be true of there woods?

The best things come to those who wait!

If you wanted next day delivery then you should have ordered Ping - they do quick delivery as they never know how long their customers have left to live! :D

Yes they are

The Mx700 series woods were flying off the shelves at the end of 2009 and Mizuno could not get them made quick enough. I ordered a fairway and hybrid at the end of 2009 and gave up and cancelled my order at the end of March. When placing the order i was originally told end of Jan, then mid Feb, end of Feb, 10th March and 31st of March. Gave up when the missed the March delivery. Have a look on their forums and you can see it's a common problem

I did hear from a pro I was buying some gear off that the factories in Japan are only running on 30% electricity. Theyre struggling to meet the demands atm

just a update a member of mizuno staff on the mizuno forum told the all the heads are in stock.
did not tell me if i will ever recive the club i have paid for.
never again mizuno !!!!

Can't see why you're so down on Mizuno, it's American Golf who should be getting pelters here as it's their job to place your order and get things moving along. They should also be your first port of call when you've got problems.

I take it you won't be using them again either ;)

Have you read Craws post on SUN MOUNTAIN CUSTOMER SERVICE.. mayb its the shop causing the delay not mizuno..your contract is with the shop , mizuno are not obliged to even talk to you , youd prob get official ans of we do not deal with individual cases or crap like that ,, HOUND the shop for an answer... tell them you are going to post a mention of it on here ;) & ask for delivery date & if they fail to meet this date you will want your money back
