No, I don't think that it's comparable to Nazi doctrine, in that the Nazis just wanted to exterminate the Jews (and selected others), whereas IS want to eradicate the whole of the western world it would seem.
I heard a radio comment earlier yesterday, before the Paris atrocity, saying that the majority of IS members just liked to have the chance to drive cars and handle guns for the thrill of doing so!

Doesn't seem to have too much to do with religion then! They justify their actions by quoting certain selected passages from the Holy Koran. Seems more like brutality, greed, lust and sadism to me!
P.S. For Jews, substitute the word Infidels (non-believers in Islam).

Religion is just the excuse. But certainly, for many, it's the excitement etc etc

IS are IS, and the Nazi's were the Nazi's. I see little point in splitting hairs about whose willy is the biggest. Their ideology is disgusting, as are their methods of trying to impose it on others.

Actually ISIS make the Nazis look quite civilised in comparison! At least they didn't publically behead their captives.
Not sure that was much comfort to the those in the Warsaw ghetto, Auschwitz etc. They were still hideous acts of human atrocity. A shame that so many years on man finds new ways of slaughtering innocent people
