Hey, now that Apple have integrated GPS into the Apple Watch series 2, has anyone taken the plunge and bought one as multipurpose golf, fitness and everyday watch?

Might be replacing my Garmin.

I have one, but at last check, the GPS apps aren't making use of the inbuilt gps yet...so still require the phone

Not sure if that's because developers haven't done it, or Apple have restrictions in place at the minute.

Yeah, currys told me they need payment and then one would be delivered in. Weren't too detailed on when that may be 😂😂
