Anyone wearing white gear yet?

I'm wondering if anyone has braved the elements and put their gleaming whites on yet?

This weekend is my first outing (apart from driving range) since injuring my back at work. The foreccast is decent for saturday and it's been fairly dry in the North East of late but I'm wondering if I should brave my New Adidas Powerbands (xmas present) and/or light pants.

The last thing I want is a mud bath

Not yet. Was going to christen the FJ XPS-1's on Sunday but it is still to damp and muddy in places.

I played Kinross last week, fairways were excellent, bone dry but the walkways between holes were really wet and muddy. Glad i didn't stick the whites on!

I don't usually have a problem with getting mud on my pants as I'm not Superman so wear them inside my trousers.

I did wear my new Ecco white shoes on Sunday to break them in and I might just wear them in the comp today

Wore my white Footjoys on Sunday and Monday, no problems. Wiped over with a damp rag afterwards, nice and clean again.
Saving the white trousers for Woburn though.

Been wearing my old FJ Dryjoy (or should that be wetjoy) with metal spikes all winter. As soon as we go onto full course at the end of the month will switch to my Ecco Hydromax.

Still have my gleaming new pair of white and orange Puma Cell Fusions to christen, but i'm thinking it'll be at least April and bone dry before I do.

I am an utter ponce, but even I draw the line at white trousers.

I have worn my white trousers this year! a cold an dfrosty morning at the Oxfordshire, so no chance of any mud as it was all frozen!

The answer is yes get some white golf shoes, they will cut shots off your handicap

And yes you can wear white shoes with black trousers, as long as you have a matching white belt
