Then look no further than MD Wedges, they are superb. The older versions should be available dirt cheap. Also Benross produce some reasonable wedges. These are the makes that I would be looking at.

You've answered your own question. I doubt you even get a recognised brand of shaft in a RAM club.

Go for MD instead. I have one (a Seve thing) with a true temper shaft and lovely UST grip. All for a packet of beans.

Taylormade RAC wedges are £50 in AG at the moment and are very good for the price.
