Thinking about it, playing somewhere good in the morning, then watch it all afternoon.

Anyone else tempted, and tempt me.........

A few of us played Delamere last time.

Have it booked off, had planned to play my course in the morning. Then head to a mates house for beer and take away.
Plans have changed so watching Ryder cup til 14:45, then have to get my board comp run in late afternoon!!

Bloody away hockey trip to London ruining my Friday and Saturday viewing 😡

I finish my nightshift Thursday morning then I'm not back into work till Tuesday afternoon, got a comp Sunday morning, playing Monday but not sure where yet then the rest of it sat infront of the tv.

On a night shift so playing Woburn in the morning then crashing and watching in the afternoon

I sort of semi retired last Tuesday so I plan to watch all 3 days especially as I played the course last year and want to jeer anyone who drops a shot on any hole I parred!!

Oh Yes!

My manager knows me well enough now to know that if at all possible I will be on leave on the Thursday and Friday of the Open and the Friday of the Ryder Cup. ;)

My leave year ends on 30 Sept and this year I'm actually off all week using up un-taken leave.

I doubt I'm gonna see much of it at all. I might get to see Saturday afternoon's action but won't see much of Friday or Sunday

Have great memories of the 2010 RC when it finished on the Monday. Of course all the golfers were caught out and were in the office but thanks to surreptitious checking on the BBC website and other sources we soon had a network of e-mails updating us on the scores until suddenly one chap just jumped out of his seat with the news that G-Mac had won the Cup for us. Brilliant.

Had a similar thing going when we won the Ashes in 2005.

Yep. Not playing golf in the morning as usual but will be glued to the TV...

Just booked a silly tee for Sunday morning at 7.06 (is it light then?!) so I don't miss a shot :-)

Your looking a bit peaky though, Dave.

Absolutely no chance :( I threw a sickie last week afterI left my work gear at the golf club the night before and couldn't be ersed picking it up AM.
Also had to beg for H4H Monday & Tuesday off.

Please don't come on here saying your off playing somewhere nice etc, I don't want to hear it.. I hope it rains :D
