...'An idiot abroad' on tv last night? Ricky Gervias and Stephen Merchant send their Manc pal Karl Pilkington (who hates everything foreign) to see the seven wonders of the world and set up challenges for him along the way.
First epsode was the Great Wall of China.
Have to say it was the funniest show I'd seen in a long time, was in stitches at some of it, the stuff about eating toads, the old lady building her own coffin and the bears at the great wall of China were priceless.
Really looking forward to the rest of the series.

Would highly recommend it. :)

i thought it was a bit boring. I mean Pilkington is a pillock, but without Gervais and Merchant there to prop him up he was just dull by himself.

unsuprising to learn he left school with 1 gcse though

I thought Gervais was the weak link. All he does is laugh, annoyingly.

Karl Pilkington was the best person in it, Stephen Marchant was fine as the guy calling the shots. Just ditch Gervais, he stopped being funny ages ago.

Agree Murph, the loud Gervais laugh does my head in and just sounds false. I'm glad he was hardly in it. I laughed all the way through tho. Its repeated tonight on sky 2.

I actually enjoyed it and have already set a series link on Sky+.

Thought the radio with lights a little strange
Mr Pilkington was quite amusing IMO
