Anyone played Wirral Ladies golf club

Playing a family competition here next week, had a look on website and its a short course, anyone played it and got any tips, eg: do I need my full bag of clubs etc.. also thinking of playing a round the day after can anyone recommend somewhere nearby to play.

Yes. Try to leave the driver in the bag in the main as it is tight and you are better plotting your way round. It also has some nasty heather to the sides of the fairways.

Caldy, Wallasey are two of the better courses, but check the prices out first.

Thanks ... will leave the driver at home, looked at the scorecard no long holes so hoping to get away with hybrid off the tee on most, going with a half set hybrid, 6,8,PW and 60deg + putter. Dont like sound of the heather might have to take a few more balls with me !
