Anyone Played Seacroft

Having winged about a few aspects of my club I decided to do something about it and try and get more involved. I have signed up for the social team (no handicap restriction) and I am involved in my first match on Saturday at Seacroft. Has anyone played the course who could give any useful tips. Also any matchplay/team golf advice would help as I have never played matchplay outside of friendly rounds.

Seacroft is a full links - North Shore is part links part parkland. Get our Scots friends to give you some tips for links golf.

Yes it is a links course, only played links golf once at Goswick (well 2 rounds). That went OK but the wind was not exactly blowing for the 2 days.

Played it years ago. It was very windy and therefore even more challenging. Forecast looks good so enjoy!

plays as you did last Friday, you weren't exactly throwing shots away there nor going for Hollywood shots.
