Anyone played Kirby Muxloe GC?

Looking at a mixed open to do in July. Came across Kirby Muxloe which gets decent reviews - anyone played it?

Same date is Kings Lynn but costs £80 compared to £32 Ok so a meal is included at KL but even so...

Lovely course although only played it the once, as metalmickie is a member he'll give you a better run down than I ever could!

Played there last week, normally great course but looked in need of some TLC, several
Greens in poor condition & fairways. Sure it would be fine by July

Fair comment. I think it would be fair to say that due to the weather conditions this last winter and early spring we are 3-4 weeks behind where we would like to be at this time of the year. But the greens staff are catching up fast and everything should be back to normal well before July.
