As above. Bought a set last week knowing they were 2° flat. I was fitted as standard lie last year.

It was a set of mizunos. I took them on the course on saturday and they were terrible. Everything was right. Odd shank threw in there aswell. No doubt out of frustration.

I since discovered mizuno are already 1 degree flat to most other models. So potentially they could be 3 degree flatter than my last set.

Anyway off to the pros tomorrow for there adjustment.

Without being rude (no really!) why did you buy them if you knew they were flat and not suited and go out to use them without getting them fixed first? Can they be moved that much and not damage them?

Are you unknowingly over compensating by standing too close?

Probably best checking your stance then getting the adjustment, don't want to adjust to your compensated stance.

tbh the shank is not because of the club, a flat lie will catch the toe first and strike it with a slightly open clubface. Get them moved 3 deg upright your pro should be able to do this.

Yeah they are booked in for tomorrow. I wasnt intending playing on saturday but when my parents offered to take my kids and the sun was shining there was no way i wasnt golfing.

Mizuno irons can be adjusted +/- 3°

Only got them on friday so tomorrow was earliest date to get them in.

Not reading into the swing etc on saturday. Everything was going right and i felt myself pulling left by coming over the top, i was then trying to stop that which resulted in me coming too much from inside which im sure is where the shank came from. Was an interesteing day to say the least. On a plus my short game was pleasant :)

Bought a set of "Tour Edge XCG3's" off a work mate and he'd had them fitted for him but I got the chance to try em out first, well they suit me perfectly so good in fact I just don't seem to be able to miss hit em my drives are longer, higher, straighter, more accurate and easier on the ole right shoulder and elbow to boot so absolute bargain as far as I'm concerned now to sort the rest of em out !...
