Hi all,going to Sarthe,near le mans in april for a week carp fishing .Has anyone played golf around this area and what they thought of it.May see if I can get around in if possible.Thanks

I played matchplay a few years ago in France, I was 6 down after 8 - needless to say he surrendered anyway as per national protocol

Nope not yet, but I can recommend a great restaurant in Le Mans town centre. Stand outside and facing McDonalds and look to your left, can't remember the name of the restaurant but it's got a load of outside seating. Fantastic food in there!

not played in this area but have done in other parts of france, usually in the coastal areas. always found the reception good, no problems getting a round and enjoyed many of the courses. if you want more info, the french tourist office in london will usually have plenty to send you. HTH
