Anyone played at The Belfry recently

So tomorrow morning I am heading off to The Belfry for a golf weekend (one round on the PGA, one round on The Derby).

I was just wondering what the course condition is like, last we went the greens were being hollentined, but the fairways were fantastic, and the rough savage (especially on the PGA).

Anyone played there recently and got any insights?

I played the Brabazon 2 weeks ago and it was in fantastic condition, we were lucky with 24 degrees of sunshine. Greens were very good and very quick as expected on the Brabazon. The greens had not been airenated at that time. The PGA and derby coureses looked good from a distance but I didn't play the courses. I'm sure you won't be disappointed with the Belfy.

Played it about 3 months ago.

We went on a Golfbreaks package and paid £120 for two rounds, dinner, bed and breakfast. We were due to play the Derby and the PGA National, but we turned up on the day and asked very nicely (actually we thrust £300 in front of them) and asked to be upgraded from the Derby to the Brabazon which they allowed us to do.

With the above in mind I can't comment on the Derby, but I thought the PGA National was a cracking course and I actually enjoyed it more than the Brabazon. Course is in good nick, and some of the holes are fantastic, quite picturesque in places in my opinion.

Played both the brabazon and derby courses about 2 months ago. We loved it, the condition of the brabazon course is immaculate, and we thoroughly enjoyed the derby course. The derby does get a lot of criticism but it's in good condition, and there are some nice quirky holes.
