Guys,

As the question says, has anyone tried the G15 with the Serrano shaft? Is this shaft comparable to the PL Red, i.e. low launch. In the market for a new driver (even though I' ve hit the Yonex well the last time out) because I need to keep my ball flight down coming into winter when the wind will be howling.

Cheers,
Redwood.

I was going to order my G15 with the Serrano shaft but discovered that the PL red shaft was available as a WRX option so went for this instead. I had the same shaft in my G10 and loved it.
Cost me £25.00 more than the standard club but I'm a happy bunny.
I didn't hit the Serrano by the way.

I tried this today as was looking to change from my TM Burner driver. I tried both the G15 with serrano shaft and on the recommendation of the club pro the G10 with a stiff shaft. Have to say I didn’t get on very well with the G15 all shots going off to the right where as with the G10 straight or with a draw. Needless to say I decided to go with the cheaper option and bought the G10.

I found the opposite. Good drives with my G10 were as straight as an arrow, the bad ones were cuts, whereas the bad drives with my G15 are pulls to the left, or draws. I'm getting the hang of it now though and things are improving.

My bad shot with the G10 was a slice, normal was a controlled fade. My G15 is bullet straight with the good ones and a pull left, occasional hook, for the bad. As Smiffy says, now adjusting and it's like the gun sight coming into focus!

No I didn't hit the serrano for the OP...
