Hi folks

Just wondered if anyone had the opportunity to try the "Taylor Made Tour Truck Experience"?

It is coming to my normal driving range next week and I have booked a slot - just wondered if folk had tried it. Is it just a normal Custom Fit or does the Tour truck factor add any extra dimension?

Cheers

from last year. jimbob.someroo sneaks in on the left

Ok grand - I wasn't expecting that to be available when I go. I'd probably want a day or 2 to mull things over as my last iron CF was a disaster.....

Also - who did they say in the video has the handmade Australian grips at £40 each?

Sorry mate, the truck we were on was the tour truck that goes on the road an supports the european tour, i doubt thats the one that does retail stuff. we were lucky people selected for a fitting with GM and TM.

Just a follow up as I had my session today.

It wasn't the full "tour" truck BUT they did have the option to build whatever you wanted on the day.

They had a great range - obviously all the current TM irons, drivers etc but also a good selection of shafts including all the expensive up charge options.

Ht the TP MB & MC Irons, SLDR Wood and Rescues as well as JetSpeed Woods and rescues.

Really impressed bu the HL 3 Woods - at 17* both were out carrying my XHot Pro at 14.5*. Irons also really nice - speed pocket is really noticeable in terms of distance!

must say I do like the look of the MC's, I nearly got CB/MC combo but decided on the extra forgiveness of CB's although mine are the previous model.
