anyone had any problems buying the new issue of GM

has anyone who normally buys the mag from newsagents/supermarkets etc (as opposed to subscribing) had any issues getting hold of a copy of the new issue (December coverdateed Lawrie & Harrington on the cover)

Got mine from Sainsbury's in Newbury on Friday, they had several copies but had added 10p to the price by adding their own bar code label.

My local Tesco did not have a copy on the day the latest edition came out, but I picked one up there yesterday.

After reading the above, I checked my copy I had bought from Tesco's Kingston Park on the 31st and they had done the same, Mag price £4.30, but £4.40 with barcde label over the top.

Get it sent monthly on subscription when GM do a good offer

got mine on Sunday here in NI, and yes it's 10p more expensive, with the little white sticky over the £4.30 price.

that was our mistake, we printed the cover with an incorrect price (but had the correct barcode) and didn't discover the error until it had been printed so we had to have all newsstrade copies stickered by retailers with the correct price or else it would have thrown EPOS systems

Got one in the Local Co-op on Friday no problem.

I guess people might struggle to get one this month with the Benross feature in and all, I can see places selling out fast!
