Further to my last post about heading to a wedding at the Belfry, we were mis-informed and there is no rate that's been organised by the wedding party, so the Belfry are wanting their full rate for two nights (£210) which, although not massively over priced, is out of our budget right now.

We're opting to stay just down the road in a B&B which is right next to Lea Marston Golf Club, so I might elect to have 9 holes there instead to save money, since I'll be playing on my own most likely.

If it's rubbish, I might still get a round at the Belfry organised.

the course is a par 3 really with 2 par 4's. personaly i wouldn't bother. there is a municipal course (tamworth) 4 miles away thats much better and only 10 quid if you book with 'tee times online'.

i live around the corner and often play tamworth on my own so always free for a game
