First round since Jan 2 but feels like longer!
didn't start too well as it was unexpectedly raining. First hole felt awful - swing rubbish and ground muddy. thankfully rain stopped and played a fairly steady round with Mr B - nothing competetive (except it always is and yes I won!)
No major disasters despite a wild drive on 18 that was lucky not to be O.B.
Felt good to be out there! Anyone else made it out today?

Not today, I played 10 on Thursday and loved it the course has got through the winter very well I really wanted to play more but didn't have time.

Got out for a nice round this afternoon and a few of us are booked in for an early start tommorow morning. Weatherman says its going to be very foggy but who cares about that

Course open but work got in the way :(

Still got down the range to try out my new driver and fairway woods that arrived today and was hitting them much better than my old ones :D

Still i'll get out on Friday so i'm counting down the days.

Went up to the club today to pick-up a new jumper i order in December and the course was still closed, Paul the pro said that the course should be open for weekend but snow is forecast for Wednesday

I got out today for first game since early December. Following my first practice session yesterday i was pleased with my game, pushed a couple shots to the right but real happy with my distance control.
It's forecast to be bad weather over the weekend but hopefully i'll get a few games next week when i'm off work.

Not today , but managed a full 18 yesterday in Burnley. Well I say 18, it was actually 17 and a third after playing to an elevated par 3 16th. When we got up there the whole green was under 4 inch of solid ice.We couldn't even locate where the pin should have been. Just happy to be back out there and i'm sure it won't be long before everyone has a smile back on there fizzogs.

Still no golf for me. Evey course around is green and open, my course still has snow on a few holes. Hopefully this weekend, take that back definately this weekend even if it's down the west coast at Ayrshire.

first day out since november at luttrelstown castle, dublin.
clear blue sky & sunshine most of the day, magnificent!
golf was ok too, bit rusty after two months off but the big stick was working well, just need to get my new CG15 wedges in working order & get ready to drop the handicap, roll on summer!

I was out today with the seniors. Worst round of my life, 17 points. No excuses, others did reasonably well. I will have to work on my iron play and my fitness.

Really hoping that Saturday is ok, but with more rain coming, and maybe more snow, if it is open, it will be temps, in which case I won't bother.

Jeez, I sound cheerful today.

Bad day. Course closed due to frost in the ground and the probability of root damage to the fairway grass ! The weather was good too. So, I was only able to go on the range. It allowed some work on the short game - hopefully the benefits will be reaped later in the year.
Hoping the snow will come late tomorrow and the frost will have gone by the morning.

There were plenty of people there hoping for a game and the mood was not good. Not many could see why it was closed. Head Greenkeeper explained it to me but I don't think many people wanted to understand.

don't know what you're complaining about, even if it's open I won't be there. just found out we're expecting a bucket load more work, so another straight weekender for me.
