Hello, good to be back on here after a long time away!

Decided to resume my golfing activities and had my first range session in very, very long time a couple of days ago.

Ona positive, I hit some very good shots, obviously some awful ones, but can still hit woods off the deck and long irons so there is a still a game there somewhere.

Anyway, on point, I have various muscle aches, arms, legs, abdomen, which I can only attributed to the golf swing, has anyone else suffered various aches after hitting 200 or so balls after not using the muscles in the way golf requires following a lay-off?

Im hoping the muscle memory returns quickly, and that come the spring, I will be fully up to speed and producing some good golf.

Thanks!

Welcome back Big Guy!!

I'd be surprised if you didn't feel something after a long lay-off
Take it steady and it'll be easier.

Good to see you back!

Bound to be some aches and pains after a lay off I'd say. With an arthritic back I have to hit fairly regularly or the back gets pretty stiff

perfectly normal, day 2 is worse!

same as if you went to the gym after a long lay off.

Now get back out there soldier and give me 200 more!!

Good to see you back here matey. Maybe you've sub-consciously learned to hit it properly after the lay-off and the muscles don't like it!!! Whatever, keep doing it and be good to catch up with you for a game again
