I am currently on this route following my old employers being asses and not only ballsing up several key things but then ballsing up once highlighted.

Union is dealing with ACAS direct, just wondered if its a long winded, painful process? Will it affect anything with current employer?

cheers in advance

ACAS are a conciliatory organisation and will try to remedy the problem by listening to both sides of a dispute and then advising on ways to bring a solution. Normally with a win/win situation.

As far as i know it will take time , maybe a year or more , as for current employer , should not be a problem as its nothing to do with them as they took you on ..............good luck

thats ok, dont mind waiting a year for them to admit the management were inept :)

Its a paper trail and takes time for all concern to see and get all the info then decide , I just get on with life mate and when they are ready they be in touch ...............................EYG

Steve, call ACAS directly, they are excellent to deal with and dont need to know who you are in case you're worried about upsetting the current case,

I was on the other end of a tribunal as a witness for the defense as manager of a guy that was made redundant. Not a nice experiance as his statement was full of lies about me and his brief tried to tie me in knots. Got the ruling in our favour (and rightly so).

Already done that Colin, passed onto union legal team now so will sit back and wait, looks like there are 2 more ex employees doing the same, bit of a pattern forming here.
