Due to injury i've been unable to use the balls until the weekend past, and even then only on the practice area... however, i really think that i'll be opting for one of the balls that were recommended - the Pro V1x. I like the feel of the NXT Tour, but it was just tooooo soft off the putter.

How many folk here have actually switched balls, or have stopped using whatever they found in their bag first and started using the same kind of ball all the time?

and... are Titleiset meant to be contacting us or do we contact them about giving them our feedback?

Have changed from the ProVx to the ProV as I was impressed with the better spin/feel around the greens (until I lost them both)

I will be changing to the Pro-V1x for competition rounds when I get the chance to pick up a dozen. Changing from Srixon AD-333s. I was really impressed at how they spun on approaches which, now that the greens are firming up, makes a big difference.

i didn't like the V1 but liked the 1x. will buy them in the future if they are a good bargain but will probably just use balls i find.

however, i did win a sleeve of new NXTs for getting a two. they feel good but haven't played with them on the course yet

Yeh changed from TP Black to TP Red, but that was just because the greens had firmed up. I still find the Titleist balls are affected more in the wind than the TP's, when you can see the largest windfarm in Europe from your garden and another one from your golf course it is always better to play the ball that flys better in the wind.

Played twice now with the Pro V1x and like them a lot. Yet to try the NXT Tours. I'm just not certain that I can comfortably rationalise the £25 premium for a dozen Titleists over the AD333s I currently use.

As with others I really liked the Pro V1x but not sure that they are so much better for me so as to justify an extra £20 a dozen over the DX2 Soft.

I have some pro shop credit so may by a dozen for certain comps but fr general play and most of the weekly comps it will be back to the DX2

Playing well with the NXT's and will be trying the DT solos as I lost the 2 NXT's at the weekend ;) It was a scramble so never bothered looking as the course was getting backed up.

Since either Titleist didn't like me or Royal Mail decided to "loose" my balls I will be sticking with Srixon Z-STAR for the the rest of the season.

I did like the Callaway ball when I tried that and once my Z-STAR stock is depleted I will buy a dozen of them.

Bridgestone RXS to RS......they are the best balls on the market.Golf's best kept secret.

Just started using them and what a super ball. Great feel on the putting green, the best by far.

Another vote here for Bridgestone!! Used the B330S for the last 3 rounds all under h/cap. Nice & long, super check & spin & great feel. American Golf are doing a sleeve of 3 free when you buy a dozen. I'm converted.

Bloody ProV1x's.

Got given a sleeve of two in Scotland, used the first one as a provisional at Hever the other week and put it straight in a lake..
Pulled the other one out on Sunday after clattering a tree with my first ball and gave it a belt, hit the same tree and where it went God only knows.
So they each had one hit, and have now found new homes.
I'll stick to Srixon.

I haven't found time to seriously try the Titlesit balls yet but I have decided to start playing the same type of ball each round rather than the first one in my hand from the bag.

Trying out Wilson DX2 at the moment - reasonably pleased with the results and I don't think I can really blame the ball for my poor shots!!

I got on better with the Pro v1x than the v1, which suprised me as I didn;t think I swung fast enough for the x. Tempted to try the Bridgestone, haven't heard a bad report on them yet, and at a fiver cheaper a box that will add up over the year at the rate I lose balls

I didnt take part in the test but have recently made the switch from z-stars.

The greens at my place are difficult to hold but the prov1's perform like no other ball. I had tried the last model and wasn't that impressed, the new one seems alot better.

I had always steered away from titleist (because everyone else used them) I dont like to follow the crowd and was impressed with the srixon range. Had played 333's for 12 months but there was always that knowledge telling me they cant be number one ball on tour by fluke.

Glad I made the switch
