Anyone a member at tudor park, kent

I've played it once and wouldn't rush back.

When I thought about it, there's only one hole I can remember on the course.

So nothing I can think of would make me want to play it again.

I don't think we even went in the bar after as it was hotel bar prices and ended up going to a boozer down the road.

I have played it a few times and it's a typical hotel course. A few naff holes imo, but it looked ok when I was driven round. I was told that trolleys are banned completely in winter if the weather is bad or frosty which wouldn't be any good for me.

On the plus side, you pay monthly and can leave at any time and membership includes the Spa and well equipped gym which, if you're into those things, is good value.

What's up with Wrotham, that's a much better course than Tudor Park.

Woodlands got some of the best greens I've played on this year but has 2/3 very silly holes.

Got to agree that Tudor Park would not be top of my list, although the course is OK IMO, the biggest draw back for me is the fact it is a busy course with societies, cheap green fee offers etc.

Would have said in that area Kings Hill or Wrotham (why r you looking to leave?) And West Malling would be ahead of Tudor park.

It's ok. There are much better clubs in the area.

The course is fine but it's very very busy and rounds can be incrediy slow.

Wrotham Heath, Bearsted, kings Hill, possibly others I've missed. Depends where you're travelling from.

Edit: just seen you're at wrotham. Why would you switch a good club for a hotel course?

I left wrotham last season and joined bearsted, bearsted seems to get very very very wet through the winter which results on closure. The greens are have been absolutely rubbish this year and iv heard tudor is always in good nic.

I would like to join rochester and Cobham but 5he 1k joining fee is a big push off.

Kings Hill is probably your next best bet for a well draining course.

Kings Hill is a decent track, some awesome practise facilities now it's a Robert Rock academy.

10 and 18 are two of the great holes at Woodlands, I'm not sure how active the club side is with comps etc, so depends on what your looking for.

Tudor and west mailing are very slow walks generally, out of the two I would pick WM as is 36 holes.

Could you not pay the joining fee over a number of years?

Its what I did at Dartford.

Good idea if you plan to stay there for the foreseeable.
