Anyone a member at Stapleford Abbotts in Essex?

i'm thinking of joining and wanted to check its what it says it is!

x2 courses - played both, happy with them.

what i'm more concerned about is the ability to book regular weekend rounds and how busy the course may get.

It's also a crown golf course, that means we can meet for a game as you can play any other crowwn golf course.

cool, i'm 90% sure i'm going to sign up.... £500 for full 7day membership which is a bargain.
the Priors and Abbotts courses near me are both pretty good and i've got the bug to play in some competitions after my first one on saturday!

Just check with them that you can play other crown golf courses. I'd be up for having a game with you, its not too far from me and as stated, the golf for me would be free.

£500 is pretty good for 7 day membership, especially with 2 courses. Never played it myself but have driven past it, as long as you can put up with the traffic noise I think it's a good shout. If you like the courses then I'd say go for it, try to get as much free stuff as you can out of the membership manager as they are deperate to get new members in Crown golf.
I am a member of a crown golf course and depending on the type of membership you get you can play the other 30 crown golf courses for free 8 times a year, might be worth asking about it before you join

if i wanted to get a group of people together to play at my home course do i just speak the powers that be, get tees booked and they sort a discounted gree fee?
