.......feel sick!

Ate very little this morning...... possibly due to last nights excesses!
Christmas dinner was magnificent! All the usual, cooked to perfection by my darling missus. Pudding to follow pushed me to the limit. No alcohol.

Settled for a short while, then round to the in-laws. Handed a drink as soon as we walked through the door - an ice cold pear cider (very refreshing). Turned down food but later started nibbling. Cheese board came out and tucked in as I'm a bit partial. Followed this up with various savouries, then cake and sweet nibbly type stuff. Finished off with a very large Baileys (love it with ice)
Mrs drove us home, everyone gone to bad feeling knackered after a long day. Me....... sitting in the lounge feeling bloated and sickly!

Oh what a greedy pig I've been today!

Not just you mate. Took it easy yesterday but while cooking had a few beer, done nothing but eat and drink since around 2, all family tucked up and I'm sitting watching cricket, nice glass of rioja feeling pretty happy and full

I've gone down with a cold, son (27) came for dinner with a worse cold and wife has a leaky tooth filling. It was such a good dinner but none of us could eat much

Still, Aussies 46 -3 so hot bath and bed reasonably happy

I didn't eat much yesterday but that was due to being on nights on Christmas Eve, get home at 0730, go to bed, get up at 1 pm,breakfast, go and pick up my mum - she normally drives but snow and ice put her off. Consequently, I had too take her home last night so nothing to drink either. Lunch was at 2 30 so did not eat much.

Next year, I start nights on Christmas Eve, so won't be having as much as this year !

ot at all, due to driving to the inlaws after dinner, i eat just the right amount (thanks mum) and only had 1 bottle of stella, then when i got home another couple of beers to help down a sandwich and some mince pies.

different story today though, no driving so maybe a few more beers....
