Any issues with Footjoy Hydrolite spikes here?

Hi folks, am thinking of taking Mashleyr7 up on his sale of hydrolites, but have noticed on a couple of websites dome people suggesting the new spike system, PINs, is not great and they fall out/wear down very quickly.

Has anyone got any experience of this?

If not, I'll be buying them!

Cheers

Worn mine lots over the last year and they are easily my favourite pair of shoes, the Adizero's I bought are nice but no where near as comfy.
Never had a problem with the spikes apart from getting clogged up when it's really muddy.

I have the exact same pair of the "sport" model of hydrolite. Worn 30 or 40 times now, at times in terrible conditions, and not a single problem. I dry them and use inserts after each use.
My playing partner has the white/brown "classic" ones and is on his 3rd pair due to cracking at the flex point. Not sure he drys them though.
Overall, I am so impressed I just bought another pair in white/blue as a back up.

On the spike question, not a single problem. Excellent wear and always seem tight.

Having just purchased a pair of Hydrolites myself Bratty, I've been looking at replacement packs of the P.I.N.S. "spikes".
One of the "benefits" of these cleats is that they bring you closer to the ground.
Won't that mean I'll be hitting all my shots fat until I adjust to them?

Cheers, Smiffy. Are the replacements really available?

Think I'll be biting the bullet and buying them!

Replacements readily available Simon.
A quick Google search will bring up a few places, including American Golf, where you can buy them.
I can't wait for mine to arrive. Will look really nice with a pair of coffee coloured chino's

Coffee coloured? As in you've spilt coffee down your white trousers again?? :D
