He's -2, nothing wrong with his final round, looks like a dour faced sod if you ask me.

Just because he has a serious looking game face doesn't mean he is such a sour puss. Monty was hardly the life and soul of any party when he played and Langer was the height of Germain tutonic efficiency with cracking a smile. Faldo was another. Woods of the modern day top players is perhaps the most dour faced of the lot. Do you smile all the time when you are at work?

If my "work" involved travelling around the globe following the sun, playing the top golf courses on the planet and getting paid for it, well yes i bloody well would smile at my work.
In fact you would be on here posting that it was annoying watching me play with a grin like a cheshire cat all the time

You also have to remember he might have huge outgoings (gold-digging wife?, top education for the kids, huge house and cars etc.....) each month.
And when your not a prolific winner or anywhere near the top in most tournaments, then there's not much to grin about.

Careful you are making my heart bleed for these poor unfortunate souls on the PGA tour. I think top 60 last year was still comfortably over $1 million in earnings so it's clearly hard to scrape by.
Maybe we should start up a charity to rescue them and take into a better life
I am with OP these people earn vast sums of money just for turning up in the right gear let alone what they earn on the course. Yeah if things go wrong and they play badly I am not expecting them to be happy about it but crack a smile once in a while and let us no you are enjoying the amazing life you lead.
Faldo will never be anything close to players like Norman, Rocca, or of course Seve because he never let his guard down and never gave a glimpse of his personality (I assume he did have one) Tiger was the same but his guard was taken away in spectacular fashion and personality laid bare for the world to see.

If you checked his earnings for this year, he has made about £180k. I'm guessing the guy doesn't exactly live a chav lifestyle. In perspective, £180k for a pro sportsmen is simply not enough.
