Or at least that was the plan.

This time last year the only Titleist club I had in the bag was my Scotty putter.
Now the only club that ISN'T Titleist is my putter!

Next year I'm going to calm down.

How has everyone else's pledges to leave well alone gone?

Picked up an Xhot2 driver from Patrick, put my existing shaft in to it, picked up an Adams hybrid too, otherwise all as was, same irons, wedges (which were changed back end of last year) and putter

Exactly the same set up now as this time last year.

I have benched my Crews wedges and tour stage blades for the winter, and put my callaway stuff back in.

Not sure if that really counts though.

For the first time in as long as I can remember, there have been no changes to my bag over the past year.
My handicap has dropped too. I wonder if these 2 facts are related?

Only the 3wood has changed and I'm not happy with it.

Can't resist the M2......but then the driver will need changing..........and the hybrid ......oh ffs!!

Too many changes to remember, although the irons are old faithfuls. Same 3W since April and the putter is nearly 3 months old! Time for a new one...

Nothing new in the bag for a while but. My irons are coming up a year old :D I guess my putter is the youngest thing. I might get a higher bounce lob wedge but that will be as well as so does not count does it? Winter extra!

I had done a full bag swap but put my old Burner 5 Wood back in as I just wasn't consistent enough with my Nike Hybrid.

Really trying to get to grips with my driver. If I don't, the M2 is on my list but will wait for TM's new'un to come out first.

I haven't purchased any new clubs this year so that almost counts as no bag changes but...

I have changed the shaft in my driver to combat an occasional massive block+fade - seems to have worked.
Ditched my JPX825 irons and gone back to my older MP68 as I can no longer strike the ball clean with the the JPX's at all. Can't stop thinking about some new irons to fix this madness!

But the biggest achievement is the putter. For the first time in my 6 years of playing I've had the same putter - Scotty Futura X5 - in the bag all year. It still works well and I still love it to death. :)

New wedges to replace 10 yr old knackered ones, Crossovers all new at the expense of hybrids (new shaft in the 915h is looking good for a return soon though - cheers, Andy;)) and an old faithful putter returned and is still in form.

Ive just bought another 3w, I really can't find one I like BUT im confident this will be sound

Really fancy an M2 driver but can't find one available with the shaft and price im after, maybe expectations are too high. I'll maybe try the AG double trade in price thing with my G30 and see what transpires.

Irons were changed in Feb, will probably stay at least another year. Wedges are unchanged all year as was the hybrid and 4w (which will make way for new 3w)

Season 3 coming up with the putter, longest ive had a putter in the bag for so far.

Only thing that changed for me until the end of the season was adding a Titleist TMB.

Since then I've bought a hybrid, new wedges, a new putter and recently some new irons

TBH once I'm settled on irons I'm pretty determined just to leave as is for as long as possible with the only potential change being a 3 wood.

Cut to this time next year when I'm posting "well I've changed the entire bag"

I told the Mrs in the summer (after getting a new driver , first time in 3 years) that "I am just getting this gap wedge to plug a gap in my set then I dont plan to change for a few years"

then it was "for my 30th in march ive decided new irons"

then "oh Ive upgraded my Sand and Lob wedge to match the Gap"

followed by "AG got an amazing deal im bringing the new irons forward a few months"

to "just bought this 46 degree wedge second hand because I have a gap between my gap and my pitch" lol

"babe.. I sold all my old model trains on ebay.. heres £100 for yourself.. oh btw just bought an M2 driver because decided that one in January actually never suited me"

finally "ive bought a new 3 wood.. to match the M2.. its ok I sold my old 3 wood and got this one cheaper so its a steal"

man I was bad this year lol.. until this year I hadnt overly added to my bag for 2 years .. even then was drips and drabs just upgraded a 3 wood here or a hybrid there as a deal (an actual deal like an ex demo for £85 for a 910F 3 wood or a £50 hybrid) would appear

next year no new clubs!

In the last year...

Irons 6-gw
56 degree
24 + 27 hybrids
3 wood.

Damm I thought I had knocked the club buying on the head. In fairness my purchases are much more calculated. I used to have multiple boxes coming each week.

In my defence I fell back in love with woods after a friend lent me a 5 wood. I also decided I would make the game easier by replacing my 4 and 5 irons with hybrids and couldn't pass up on the deal for the irons which meant I could ditch the blades.

Putter has stayed between two, Mizuno and see more. half tempted to dip again into this market but no point on crap winter greens.
