Congratulations to Michael Hoey and the Ulster golfers. A good weekend for those of us who support sportsmen from the ''Isles''. Andy Murray, Mr. Button and young Hoey.
Here in Spain the press is starting to get stuck into Jensen and his team. Sad, if you ask me.

Indeed very well done to Hoey, he did well to prevail in a play off against a previously undefeated, in these circumstances, Fernandez-Castano.

Was there any player in the Portuguese Open anyone had even heard of?
OK joking aside I recognised Broadhurst and Lawrie, old pros who've seen better days.
European Tour is very second rate at this time of year, I suppose its to do with the Masters coming up and anyone who's anyone is in the US to prepare.
Hopefully the European Tour can start to attract some higher ranked players to some of it's events soon.....bit of a snoozefest these days.

OK, Birdieman. The field wasn't outstanding but it's still a win. Who's your pick for next week at Augusta? I've got no doubts. :D

I can't call a winner, TW will figure, that's almost certain but I dont think he'll win. Someone will do a Johnson or an Immelman and have a really good week.

Paul Casey might be a good outside shot, been playing well all year ans has the length to handle Augusta. Saying that Immelman and Johnson are not big hitters and they came through.

Too may variables, no idea basically.

I was tempted to back Mickelson again but he's played poorly this week so that's put me off.

Birdieman,
If it's not Mickelson or ''You know who'', it'll be an American like Boo Weekly. Can't see a European winning this time although Casey must have a chance. Hope Garcia has a nightmare because he's a t***.
