For those near the south west of the country, online entry for all the B&B opens is now available

not playing Saunton this year, so am tempted to enter the Challenge Salver. even if it does just guarantee me .2 :) however, £45 for 36 holes and a practice round is an absolute bargain!

Im doing the opposite this year and entering Saunton when it opens on Wednesday.

Spot on, 45 notes is daylight robbery

My main reason is that I've missed Easter because of it for the last 5 years. And Easter Monday is so early this year, the weather will most likely be awful.

Might play the Autumn open down there though

D4S, I know you like your golf in Cornwall. Two 3 man comps worthy of mention if you can ever get in them are the "Coast to Coast", played over consecutive days at Mullion and West Cornwall, 135 quid a team, two great tracks, and 3 course meal thrown in at both venues after each round, with great prizes. Stableford format, 2 scores from 3 to count.
Or, the "Town and Country" Same format, same same deal, played at Tehidy and West Cornwall. Always pretty full up from 0800 to 1530 tee times, but overall good value at each.

Thanks for that Trini, I'll do a bit of googling. Not heard of either of those comps before
