After last weeks cut to single figures for the first time, I played in the monthly medal on saturday with the hope of keeping my run of good form going and at worst making the buffer zone, well I started pretty steady with 6 straight pars, then after a nasty pull on the 7th ended up having to take a drop out of a ditch and walked off with a 6 , anyways birdied the 8th after a wedge to 2 foot and bogied the 9th after a silly approach shot into a bunker, so +2 for the front 9.
Onto the back 9 started par, bogie (after a 3 putt), par, bogie so not a good start and then it all changed, with a run in of birdie, par, birdie, birdie, par for a back 9 of -1, 71 overall and a nett 62 which won all the days comps and earned me a cut to 7.3  so after reviewing my target to 7 I am going to have to review it again, maybe 5 , just cant wait to get out and play again now.

You know, you can go off people very quickly in this game can't you!!

Great scoring. At this rate you'll be Cat 1 by the end of the season.

lmao I can only dream of that. I just wanna try and keep this form going as long as I can and enjoy it

Well done mate , told you there was no such thing as consolidation. Get out there and just play golf , add up the score and collect the prize money/silverware

Again well done and keep it going

Well played. I think on current form 5 may be a possibility although getting there is one thing and playing to it over the longer course in winter will be something else but it'll be a challenge if nothing else. I think your score given the start is pretty damn fine. Top man
