was wondering if any of you guys can help, my mums lap top seems to have slowed down to steam driven. Not sure if she has a virus but she never told me till about a fortnight later only fix i know is system restore and as its about two weeks later the restore point is after the date she had the problem so doesnt seem to do anything. Is there anyway to go back say a month till before problem started,
it only seems to show the one date (windows 7)my computer skills are limited when it comes to problems.
thanks in advance

Download CCleaner and run it, it will analyse all of the temporary muck that windows accumulates and will let you delete it all resulting in a healthier pc.

If you hit "Start", then RIGHT click "Computer" then hit "Properties" it will tell you what processor, how much RAM and what version of windows you are using

Need to know those details

Then hit start, Computer, RIGHT click on C Drive, hit properties
What percentage of the pie chart is Pink?
while you are there, run Disk Cleanup and get rid of your Temporary files and Temporary Internet files

1) Is it the whole PC or some apps e.g. slow Internet etc..
2) If this is a new thing, did she (or any1) install any new apps or visit non-golf websites??

I agree. It's worth using this all the time. It's amazing how much disc space you recover especially after running a program like Google Earth. Another good 'clearin out' program is Window Washer. To remove spyware etc, try Spybot or Adaware (both free).
