played and finished another spot up further away from the bottom. Didn't feel sick with nerves either before this one so feeling somewhat chuffed given that I would have had a first handicap higher than 36 if they still gave those out

Thanks both. I had two knobbed tee shots today which I've not had for ages. Forgot all about declaring a ball unplayable which also cost me as I ended up plugging it into the ground plus damn putts that stopped a midges di#k short of the hole. Oh, and a swing change after my Saturday lesson.
