CaddyAid claims in its blurb that it uses genuine high quality aerial photographs for every hole. Can any user confirm that these are NOT Google earth images?

No - not emailed on this specific issue. 2 of my local courses were not listed and I emailed them to ask if they would consider including. Answer back very quickly (2 weeks-ish) saying both now on, which they are.
But, and a big but, that seems a bit quick to send a chopper or other aircraft over to take high-res images and both courses are considerably out of date on google earth

As far as I am aware, and it is certainly in their advertising blurb so I'm pretty sure they must be on confident ground, but SkyCaddy claim to be the only GPS device that actually send people to measure the distances at a club on the ground by actually walking each hole.

Most of the others it seems get their info from GPS pictures and things like google earth which obviously can be out of date or not take into account new tee boxes etc
