Another best round ever!

Just played my best ever round today in our Wednesday Monthly medal!!

I shot a 14 over par 83. Par 69 for nett 66 off a handicap of 17. Everything went great. Thanks to a great web site with great tips. I will put up a thread soon to explain it.

I was the leader in the club house with a few groups still out on the course. There was the usual bandit remarks. As a new member of 17 they think Im a bandit but believe me Im happy with the score and if I win the medal then great.

It was poor conditions with constant rain throughout. But no winds Its a links course and is tough as when the wind blows.

My 12 medal scores are as follows as a 17 handicapper on a par 69, since I joined June 1st.

100,92, NR 21 over for 17 holes, NR 32over for 17 holes,101,103,97,94,105, NR 29 over for 16 holes, NR 26 over for 16 holes, then today 83.

I am chuffed.

Yes entered all my cards. Was a bit shocked with my starting time of 17, thougt I should be higher at the time but now I know what I can shot after today. Whos know how low but I have a target of single figures in 3 years.

Thats great shooting especially given the conditions. You'll have to update us tomorrow as to whether you held on and what your new handicap is.
