If your hitting the ball with the crown, maybe use the refund on a course of lessons?

Lol it was a ex demo club first time I have used it on a course there is no mark on the head just the crack
Just don't tell them you hit it with the crown, tell them it made a noise after your first tee shot😃

It's OK just pissed I am gonna have to splash cash. I thought I would take it and see what they say I just can't see how it did it. As it went forward about 100 yards not vertical and didn't take a divet so must of hit it square ish

To me it's ludicrous to suggest that your misusing your driver if you're trying to drive the ball but sky it off the crown instead!

We've all done that and manufacturers know it happens, a driver should be be strong enough that the crown doesn't crack or deform if it does. I put this down to either a flaw in this particular driver or to manufacturers pushing the materials to the limits to move weight around to gain an extra 8 inches on the drive.
What next, an iron that cracks if you don't find the sweet spot? "Sorry Sir, you missed the sweet spot, that's misuse so no refund".

I'd class misuse as using your driver to hammer a tent peg in or some such.

I think I'd just take it back and tell them this happened on a drive and let them decide how to deal with it!

Definitely take it back. It's a golf club, it's designed to hit golf balls at high speed without breaking.
These suggestions that it's "misuse" because you missed the sweetspot are idiotic.

New clubs all come with warranties to protect against this, not sure how much warranty a demo club has from the manufacturer, but AG should replace it for you if you bought it recently.

Plenty of people hit bad shots. I have skied a few myself, not to mention shanked, thinned, fatted etc etc loads more. I didn't run back to the shop that sold me the club, though.

More fool you just been Ag Wilson are sending me the new f5 as a replacement

They said they get chancers that have hit the wall at the range but you can clearly see the one mark from the ball and that's it
