Another 0.1

Well played in anther comp today and yes another 0.1 thats 4 on the trot another 1 and the handicap is up another stroke.
Started of ok but then started to struggle, couldn't hit the ball any distance just seemed to lose interest ,one of my mates had 40pts of 13 but when we got in there was a 44pts of 2.
Course is playing well just now nice and dry but just can't seem to get it going ,played well all winter and theres not much difference in length in the course from winter to normal just not got much interest for it just now.

Had a lesson the other day but to me it seems to be the same thing we're working on which isn't working ,maybe a new set of eyes might work.

Got 0.1 back yesterday. Shot 32 points and CSS went up one to 71 but not good enough to find the buffer. Conditions were horrendous and I didn't think I swung it great but finally had a short game of note

Keep at it Steve was struggling with wanting to play , i was picking up a few .1 then a buffer then a cut .. you know the game is in there , bit of serious competition & the game will re surface mate

I'm in line for a .1 today unless CSS is up to 73. Played lovely through the first 7 then the wheels came off a bit. Hit some lovely shots and long drives but some silly mistakes and leaked shots everywhere. Conditions were appalling, heavy rain and big crosswinds. Wind wasn't helping on a single hole.
Roll on 2 weeks for another go at getting cut.

Another .1 here too. Driving was good and irons good to but rubbish around the hole, greens at my place are as tricky as but still only my 5 th round there , so not too dismayed .

Ok got that wrong, stay at 6.0 as CSS was 73 and was 9th and 4th best gross, feeling good now

Think i'll give the lessons a miss for a while and just free wheel, yeah 44pts is some shooting something like 64,65 scratch .

Me too in all probability. Two over h'cap in medal in wind and rain. Two triples and a couple of stupid doubles (is there such a thing as a clever double?) Ah well.

Got myself a nice wee 0.8 cut in my 1st Monthly Medal at new Club. 77 for 67 with "6" 3 putts including 3 out the last 4 :angry:

Happy with how I am hitting it, the putting will come... Surely??

Played ok for 6 then completely lost my swing.
Good job I putted well, otherwise 100 could have been on the card

I won't be entering and comps a my place till the greens improve. At the moment they are fast as we have had no rain in 9 weeks, trouble is very very uneven, even a 2 ft put can bounce a foot of line.
In saying that shot 73 gross off the white's yesterday with 4 birdies, lessons starting to come good.

Rained last night so we might start getting some growth as it was 17 deg and sunny all day yesterday and friday.

Everyone plays the same course right? You have to make your own luck by hitting solid putts out the sweet spot every time as they hold their line better.
