What is the increase in subs at your club and are you happy with that increase?

Ours have gone up 3.2% which is absolutely fine with me (especially considering we have had little or no increase in the last 3 years) which takes us to £945 for full membership. The Bar levy (which is another topic) has gone up to £75 from £50 which is not enough in my opinion it should be at least £50 due with subs then a further £100 after 4 months into the season, which if not spent should be lost to the club......

Not sure yet but heard a few rumblings that they are staying the same

I think we pay around 550 pound a year for 7 days play and we dont have bar levys and other fees....in the early fee is insurance and fees to swedish association included.. Instead of bar levy we have another system... if i put in say 100 pound on my clubcard.. everytime i buy in the bar i get 15% reduction.. it means if i support the bar and restaurang then i get discount...

Reduced by almost 20%

They've eliminated the new joiners special rate, simplified the membership structure and the new rate for all is just a few quid more than the special new joiner rate that has been in place for the last couple of years.

Obviously I'm very happy with this. I was debating whether to rejoin as I just had a baby daughter (last week!) and was concerned about value for money with my reduced opportunity to play. But at the lower rate I'm staying put.

Up £100 with increases in April (which was standard) and July when our club changed hands. Up to £550 now, which although is a big jump is still about the right sort of level for the standard and area of the club.

3% and for the way the courses have been presented this year no one had an issue when it got
announced at the agm

It's not every day you hear of a reduction but more power to them. Hopefully the sums all work out

Subs not due until 1st March so we'll wait and see. We seem to have attracted a lot of new members this year so hoping any increase will be kept to a minimum giving the expensive charges we already pay

A drop of nearly 25% for my current home course, from £425 to £325 I believe. They've done away with five day membership which was around £280 I believe and introduced this flat rate across the board.

Up 10%.

Not happy, but then societies and green fees are down (apparently), so the difference has to come from somewhere. Subs now at £1375, which is still on the cheaper side for the area (true, but what????)

Should find out in the next few days, was the AGM tonight so would have been discussed then. But I was unable to attend due to work. Hopefully there won't be an increase.

Our AGM is soon (early December) and will find out then, I would imagine either a small increase or staying the same.

Gone up £80 for me, not impressed. I'm in the over 30's 7 day member which is being crucified as many have moved to 5 day as a cheaper option. Playing partner is under 28 so now pays £300 less! I know we have to attract new younger blood as we have a very aged membership, still hurts though. Now paying £899. Bar levy scrapped and joing fee, 3 years after I paid my £500 up front. I'm not bitter honest! It has gone up £30 odd every year since joining. I'll renew this year and then se what happens. If after that I may join longcliffe as its now the same price and a lot nearer.

up £11 nothing massive but its almost 600 quid now and when you can join 4 local courses for 370 for the first year I think we may start losing people.

New members get to join for half price and 57% of the current members are on reduced fees, something is seriously wrong imo.
