What counts towards these. Do matchplay and greensomes matches. I thought not but someone told me they did.

When the report is run off from club systems its looking at all the qualifiers throughout the year

Comp committees can also look at KO comps or other comps when assessing people HC during annual review

The handicap system will use qualifiers only BUT the committee should consider other factors such as matchplay results/performance when considering a cut.

Ah, so 1 win in matchplay probably wouldn't flag anything but a few would. Surely greensomes can't come into it though as it's alternate shots.

You wouldn't think so, but there are some pretty daftly inconsistent HC Committees around! And there are a few 'handicap managers' that HC Committees have to consider as well!

We ignore greensomes and only use foursomes as a market.
And do you mean a win in a matchplay comp ( ie the whole comp ) or just one round

Foursomes is alternate shots too, so just as relevant/irrelevant as Greensomes.

For me it was only 1 club knockout matchplay win but 1 club major greensome win. For HID it was 4 club matchplay wins to take him to the semi final.

Foursomes is alternate shots too, so just as relevant/irrelevant as Greensomes.

I wouldn't touch the HCs based on getting to a semi final or winning a Greensomes comp.

Would possibly use them as evidence on top of other singles wins throughout the year or if flagged for possible decrease from review.

If I put any more performances in like i have recently I think I'll be in for one! If it just goes on qualifiers then no I won't!
