Just got august edition of GM and read the article paul casey wrote about 10 tips to make you a winner. He's just shamelessly plugging nike gear! Makes me like him less and what a waste of a page!!

Yeh I dont like him at all! I saw an interview with him once and it sounded like he was putting on an american accent......tit!!!!

Heard some interesting stories relating to Casey and the last RC. Lets just say he didn't endear himself to the team and so it made not picking him as a wildcard this time around an easy choice. Not a fan either

I thought the article by Paul Casey was a good read, with some interesting tips. Each to their own I suppose.

He wasn't picked for the Ryder Cup because of injury and therefore not amassing enough qualifying points. He said he was ok with that and although unfortunate, wouldn't expect to be picked in front of others that had played themselves in.

So who's the next one to be picked on then? Oh yeah, Lee Westwood isn't it?

Golfmmad.

I followed his group around the Belfry a few years ago,he certainly likes the sound of his own voice. His playing partners were just nodding constantly. What a total c,u,next tuesday.

Having met him a few times, I can confirm the general opinion of him is the one I got also.

Thats not just picking on him for the sake of it either. I've also met other players who have media repuations like this, but are actually really nice guys in person.
One particular example is Monty who has a reputation for being grumpy, but is actually a really nice and friendly person when you meet him.

Saw him on a practice day at Wentworth a year ago and he was playing the Pro am with some celebs. He walked onto the tee and then gave the marshalls an absolute b*llocking for "watching the golf and not doing their job"

He is generally one of the most diliked on the tour - source, a European Tour Pro who I know

Absolute knob!

Chris

I don't know him personally, and have no desire to either.

But I enjoy watching his golf when he is playing well.

Which, as far as I'm concerned, is all that really matters.

:p
