Hillsborough justice campaigner Anne Williams, who died in April, is been honoured at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year ceremony.
Anne fought tirelessly for a new inquest into her son Kevin's death in the 1989 football tragedy.
The Helen Rollason Award was accepted on her behalf by her daughter Sara, son Michael, and brother Danny.
The BBC award - named after TV presenter Helen Rollason, who died aged 43 in 1999 after fighting cancer - is given for outstanding achievement in the face of adversity.

I don't think many people realise the massive input this lady had into getting were we are today with the truth.

She was fighting the authorities and slowly exposing the corrupt shambles of Hillsborough.

Some thought she'd go away but she was determined to get the truth. I played golf with one of the lads who helped her son after the 3:16 cut off point and he told me the story of Kevin and that he was still alive. Heartbreaking stuff.

Not embarrassed to admit that I had a little tear in the eyes when Sue Johnston gave that reading. Was listening to it in the car on the way in to work. A truly inspirational woman. It's hard to comprehend what she went through over the past few years.

My uncle lost his best friend that day - he was still alive after the cut off because he helped carry him on a board - whilst a policeman tried to call them hooligans !

Lives can never be returned but people need to take to the stand and take responsibility for what happened that day

Not a Liverpool supporter but when they started to play YNWA over the top of the speech it was a lump in throat moment.

I thought SPOTY was class last night, a fitting tribute to a very courageous and remarkable woman.

Very emotional tv, big well done to the Beeb. I lived in Formby at the time Hillsborough happened. I had a few school friends who were at the game, thankfully they all came back safely. I can still remember exactly where I was and what I was doing whne the news started filtering through.

Likewise. Went to Hillsborough for a game earlier this year - Cardiff City fans were very respectful to the memorial - quite a few stood in quiet after the game when me and my lad were also standing and remembering that - there but for the grace of god...

...well I was having watched football in all it's chaotic and at times grim terracing glory through the 70s and early 80s.
