I inherited an old putter a little while after my Grandfather died. Don't know too much about it except it says Putter on the sole with the picture of a small bird, that I can only describe as a wren or similar. On the back it says Made in Scotland. The underneath this it says to the left Pinfinder & to the right A Rangefinder product.

All I can so far find out is that its likely to be associated somehow with Ben Sayers as they apparently used the picture of a small bird on their clubs

I'd really love to know more about this club & when its likely to have been made & where exactly its likely to have been made.

Not tried out this putter on a course yet, somehow I seem to be waiting for the right moment to do so.

Very similar, but not the same. Mine has a steel shaft, but a leather grip. Not sure whether it originally had a steel shaft or not, though I think it did, as everything looks original.

The bird is not disimilar, though even more stialised than even that one. There is a more muscleback look the putter about too.

Am doing some more seaching myself to see if I can come up with anything.

bare with me.
