I use one called Skydroid, and I quite like it. I think it's $1.99 through market.

Using Swing by Swing. It's free unless you want the stats recorder which costs 11$ i think.
It has a moveable touch screen part to it which gives you a lay up distance ability. splits the green into five rather than the usual front, middle and back.
If you hold the screen when you step onto the first tee, it does everything automatically, no need to move hole etc.
Well worth the price of nothing.

I use Golflogix on my phone. 1st 7 or so rounds free, then u pay (if u want) $15 for the year. Its got everything you would want.The measurements are as good as the skycaddie.

So I'm not hearing much to say that the standalone GPS devices are streets ahead in terms of performace...the only benefit seems to be use in competitions. Will probably go for an Android smart phone and top all then!
